STYROFOAM (XPS)

Extruded polystyrene is based on the same raw materials as expanded polystyrene, due to its method of manufacture, provides superior strength properties to EPS.

Styrofoam is manufactured by a continuous extrusion process, in which blowing agents are added to produce a rigid closed cell, homogenous material with a low ‘u’ value is ideal for low temp applications.

IDEAL FOR

LB Styrofoam’s extremely flat, dust free surface coupled with its natural high density make it an excellent high strength product when fabricated as a composite panel. Superior water resistant characteristics make it suitable for wet application work.
